Tattooed Trees

An orchestra of
cicadas perform
in a forest of
tattooed trees.
Shadowed shapes are
puzzled pieced
surrounded by white noise.

I found a place to walk today.

Cicadas...oh, now I'm really homesick. The song of cicadas can either soothe you or annoy the hell out of you. Especially since they come out every 13 yrs by the millions. The noise is unmistakable.

We have some attack birds nesting nearby and they click, click click quickly for hours on end. I wished sometimes I had a BB gun to shut them up. They are in the bushes just outside the balcony. OMG. It's similar to Chinese water torture. Make them stop, pluze!

Watch out for those ticks!
Miss ya. Muppet.
