Day 1 on this one. I actually had to stop painting to go buy some smaller brushes. This is getting ridiculous. I have never even used a size 2 brush, but this still life is really detailed for a 9x12 canvas. I am becoming obsessed with details. Perhaps, the Poo-Poo Shelf is effecting me.
I found the bottle, candy dish, and embroidered round at the infamous thrift store on base. I love that place! The pears came from our tree in the backyard. I have to put in all the shadows tomorrow and I should be finished.
John is feeling much better. He returns to work next Monday. Although he has been in pain, it has been nice having him home.
